On March 12, 2020, the Ningbo Plastics Machinery Industry Association (including the Forging Branch) Annual Gala Dinner and Inovance Technology & EST Customer Appreciation Banquet were grandly held at the InterContinental Ningbo.
At the Fifth Session, Fourth General Meeting and the Fifth Session, Eighth Council Meeting of the Ningbo Plastics Machinery Industry Association, President Zhang Jianfeng delivered a work report titled "Turning Crisis into Opportunity, Innovative Development". President Zhang stated that the past year 2020 was extremely unusual, one of struggle, and even more unforgettable. Facing the crisis, the Ningbo plastics machinery industry adhered to the general principle of pursuing progress while ensuring stability, adhered to new development concepts, innovation, mutation, and resumption of work and production, achieving positive growth in the industry's economic indicators.
Subsequently, Chen Dong, Secretary-General of the Ningbo Plastics Machinery Association, presented the "2020 Association Financial Report"; Su Dongping, Executive Vice President of the China Plastics Machinery Industry Association, provided an in-depth interpretation of the "Overview of China's Plastics Machinery Industry during the '13th Five-Year Plan' Period and the '14th Five-Year Plan' Development Plan", focusing on the problems and shortcomings in the development of China's plastics machinery industry during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period and the key products for development in the "14th Five-Year Plan", and proposed suggestions and measures for the future development of the industry; Professor Xie Pengcheng from Beijing University of Chemical Technology shared insights on "Innovative Technology Development Trends in Injection Molding Technology and Equipment".
Finally, Xia Qinghua, General Manager of Ningbo EST Technology Co., Ltd., shared the "New Generation Intelligent Injection Molding Machine Control System Solution" with the guests. General Manager Xia first reviewed the development history of injection molding machine control systems, explained the evolution from the first to the third generation and the advantages of the new platform, and introduced the third-generation intelligent injection molding machine control system solution—the Excellence Control System Solution.
After the council meeting, all guests proceeded to the banquet, while enjoying a cultural evening gala meticulously arranged by Inovance Technology & EST.
Hosts Appearance
This year's banquet was hosted by Ningbo TV hosts Awei and Lanlan, and officially kicked off with the opening dance "Spring Arrives, Blessings Come". The evening first featured a grand ceremony to honor the Top 10 Enterprises in Comprehensive Strength in Ningbo Plastics Machinery Manufacturing for 2020, the Top 5 Enterprises in Growth Rate, Enterprises with Outstanding Contributions in Fighting COVID-19, and the Champion, Runner-up, and Third Place enterprises of the EST Cup Basketball Tournament.
The banquet prepared many wonderful performances. The performance piece "Happy Dance Steps" by the fancy violin performers quickly brought everyone into a harmonious and cheerful atmosphere. The performer even made the violin "speak", not only greeting everyone with the violin sound but also playing blessings for the plastics industry in the coming year.
The Happy Hat Troupe, the fun dialect dubbing "Ningbo Good Local Accent", Peking Opera "Mu Guiying Takes Command", and magic performances took the stage one after another, earning continuous applause from the audience. Among them, the dialect dubbing and magic performances were passionately performed by EST employees. Subsequently, the mysterious entrance of the Andy Lau super impersonator guest created great anticipation. The performer, Chen Liming, conquered all the audience present with his fiery passion and remarkably realistic appearance and voice.
Speaking of imitation, host Awei was also eager to try, imitating Liu Huan, Fei Yuqing, and others vividly. His subsequent duets with General Manager Xia, "The Bund" and "Lasting Friendship", pushed the banquet atmosphere to a climax.
"Suddenly hearing good news from the stage, unable to suppress joyous smiles", in addition to the wonderful performances, exciting lucky draw sessions were interspersed throughout, with constant cheers. After the tense draws for the third and second prizes, the first prize ultimately went to number 205.
