When a general injection molding machine is flooded, it may cause varying degrees of water ingress into the electrical controls, machine hydraulic system, lubrication system, etc. In such cases, it should be handled within the shortest possible time to minimize losses. The following aspects can be addressed:

1. Disconnect all power sources, ensure the entire machine is disconnected from the computer;
2. Dismantle the flooded computer, drives, motors, and peripheral electrical components, rinse with clean water to remove surface contaminants and impurities;
3. Then process each part separately.
1. Remove the circuit boards, take out the built-in battery (if any);
2. Clean each circuit board with alcohol, let it air dry or oven dry before reassembly, and test with power separately.
1. Open the drive cover plate and place it vertically;
2. Remove the isolation mesh at the motor fan port and place it vertically;
3. After air drying or oven drying, reinstall the cover plate and isolation mesh;
4. Seek professional technical personnel for handling; do not disassemble the motor privately to avoid increasing losses.
1. Check if the hydraulic oil has changed color due to water ingress. If water has entered, clean and dry the oil tank as soon as possible and replace all hydraulic oil.
Tip: How to check if hydraulic oil contains water
Open the plug at the bottom of the oil tank on the frame, release a small amount of oil, dip a piece of paper in it and ignite it. If it cannot ignite or makes crackling sounds during combustion, it indicates the presence of water in the hydraulic oil.
Post-incident precautions:
1. To avoid the risk of electric shock from residual water inside the machine, after confirming the equipment is thoroughly dried, it should also be placed in a ventilated and dry area for about one week before use.
2. Check the machine's grounding wire to avoid short-circuit faults caused by the grounding wire contacting water.

Time is efficiency
Cleaning the machine in the shortest time
Can prevent machine components from corrosion
Meaning losses can be minimized
